Bates-Rich Child Care Center, open since 1978, has become recognized as a quality child care center where parents can trust their child's safety and education will be a priority. Our original location, on Clover St. in Brighton, is now being operated by Kids First Child Care. Our second location, on Edgewood Ave. in Brighton, is now Rich Beginnings. We currently own and operate just one Center in Fairport, on the corner of Whitney and Hamilton Roads.

At Bates-Rich, each child is exposed to a variety of experiences that will arouse their curiosity, challenge their physical and mental abilities and encourage self-expression. A loving atmosphere with an emphasis on safety and courtesy promotes the development of self-confidence and encourages the acquisition of skills used in social interactions and creative experiences.

Active involvement with materials offers children opportunities for learning, development of skills and a sense of mastery of their environment. Center staff set limits to ensure the physical safety and emotional security of each child.
